Step 1:

Remove all accessories from the case. This includes all reeds, straps, bocals etc.. However, include four joints and the bocal you play separately.

Step 2:

Wrap each bassoon segment with packing material and place back into the case. DO NOT use bubble wrap inside the case.

Step 3:

Close the hard case and remove it from the soft outer case. And then tape the latches closed with packing tape.
