Repadding
It is typical that annual services are not adequate after 10 years. Repadding is sometimes the most cost effective solution.

The Repad additions page lists common additions beyond what is included in a repad.

A Professional and Student instrument repadding consist of:

Replacement of
• All pads and corks
• Adjustment of mechanisms
• Lubrication
• Cleaning of body & keywork
• Tone holes refinished
• U-tube bracket resealed
• Keys regulated
• Minor tuning (basic key height set up)

Student type
• Wooden: $495
• Plastic: $350

Professional level:
• Fox ®: $495
• Heckel: $550-$800
• Püchner: $500
• Others: $500-$800

Tunning and Voicing per hour: $60

Tenon wraping: $20 (each)

A professional level repadding will also include:

• Instrument brought to the highest sealing and mechanical condition
• Sealing of all body leaks

Please also note that the highest quality pads and materials are used. Highest standards are maintained for sealing, key noise and action.
